Car Parking

There are a number of possibilities if you wish to park your car in the town:

There is limited free parking at St Louis Catholic Middle School in St Andrew's Street South. You'll probably need to be there by 09.00 (on Saturday) if you want to get a space!

The surface car park on the west side of Parkway costs £1.90 all day (including Sundays). The entry off Parkway is adjacent to the Cinema.

The multi-storey car park on the west side of Parkway costs £1.90 all day on Saturday. On Sunday it doesn't open until 10.00, but then it costs just £1.00 all day.

Short-term surface car parking on the former Cattle Market site, immediately next to the venue, is more expensive. It costs £1.80 for the first hour, £2.50 for two hours, £3.00 for three hours and £3.50 for four hours (max.)  There is a £1.00 charge after 6 pm.  Access is from the east side of Parkway.

On-street car parking in the town centre is all short-term, and therefore expensive. There is no charge on Sunday mornings, but between 13.00 and 16.00 a small charge applies.
